    Sprouts are cheap, easy to grow at home, and very healthy. As you learn their benefits, you will enjoy sprouts more.

    Snacking is something that every person loves. However, snacking is disadvantageous for you when you eat something unhealthy. You should try avoiding oily and unhealthy foods.

    You should go for sprouts as they are cheap, can be grown at home and are very healthy. You will develop a liking for sprouts after knowing its benefits.

    According to research, sprouts have more than 100 times more enzymes (special types of proteins that play a role of catalysts for your body) when compared to raw/uncooked fruits and vegetables.

    The energy inherited in bean and legume is poured through soaking and sprouting.

    The fiber content present is crucial to weight loss, also enhanced substantially through Vitamin A, B-Complex, E and C count.

    Keep a note that sprouts are home-grown which also comes along with pesticides, food additives and other hazardous chemicals. These all will work as a barrier for your weight loss plan.

    Few easy and tasty sprouts dishes

    Sprouted Moong Salad

    Ingredients:

    • Small or medium-sized onion, finely chopped 2
    • Moong beans, boiled and sprouted 4 Cups (You can keep half crunch if you want it to be crunchy)
    • Medium-sized tomato finely chopped 2
    • Red Chilli Powder ½ tbsp
    • Green chilli, finely Chopped 2 (optional)
    • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp as per your choice

    Super Healthy Vegetable Salad With Nuts

    • Chaat Masala 1 tbsp or 2 tbsp (as per your taste)
    • 2 Boiled sweet potato or boiled potato (as per your choice)
    • Few lemon slices or coriander leaves for garnishing.
    • Black salt or rock salt as per your taste.

    Method

    • Mix all the ingredients mentioned above, other than salt and lemon juice, with sprouted beans in a container (bowl).
    • Add some salt, lemon juice and garnish with lemon slices and coriander leaves just before serving. It will make it look more appetizing.

    Sprout Tikki

    Ingredients:

    • Moong Dal Sprouted 1 Cup
    • Brown Chana, boiled and sprouted 1 Cup
    • Salt to taste
    • Green (hare chane) boiled and sprouted 1 Cup
    • Fresh coriander leaves 4 tbsp
    • Chaat Masala 1 tbsp
    • Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
    • To shallow fry oil
    • Cumin (Jeera) Powder 1 tbsp
    • For shallow frying you require Besan Flour.

    Method

    • Add the sprouts, salt and mash it with a potato masher. Also include the chopped coriander into fine pieces and place them into a bowl. Then mix it properly.
    • Also then add red chilli powder, Jeera Powder, Chaat Masala and mix them thoroughly.
    • Put your non-stick pan and turn on the gas. Heat a little amount of oil. Then mould the mixture into small cutlets shape and then roll them in besan flour and place in the pan for shallow frying.

    How To Stay Fit While Working On The Night Shift

    • Have a look on both sides as they should be evenly golden. Flip over whenever required.
