What variations can you add?
There are many methods to add taste to carrot juice. These customizations you will like.
- You can add a squeeze of citrus fruits like lemon, orange, etc.
- Ginger can also be added to carrot juice. Carrot and ginger make an exciting combination. Fresh ginger is preferred, but you can also use ground ginger if you have it on hand. Note that ground ginger particles settle faster than freshly pressed ginger.
- Black pepper also tastes so good in carrot’s juice. It seems weird, but it’s a very delicious addition to your juice.
- The best flavor you can add by adding a pinch of black salt to your juice. Also known as kala namak, this Indian and Ayurvedic treasure imparts a deliciously unique flavor to everything it touches. Not only is it a cooling ingredient, but it can also help relieve acid and aid digestion.
- Another variation you can add is turmeric. It is filled with antioxidants and also contains anti-inflammatory properties. This beautifully colored and tangy root is a very delightful addition to your juice.
- If you like sweet carrot juice, you can add some oranges or grapefruit to this mixture. They have a tangy, sweet flavor that matches beautifully with carrots. You can also add sweetness by using apples and pears.
- If you like the idea of a tastier app but aren’t sure if celery is your style, cucumber adds a nice fresh flavor.
- Depending on the taste of the carrot’s juice, you can add maple syrup, honey, or agave to balance it out. It also helps if you add a little too much lemon juice.

How to prepare carrot juice?
Making carrot juices is very simple. Below, we are offering two separate methods for you to make the juice. You can use any method; make sure to start by properly preparing your carrots.
Prepping the carrots
First, wash the carrots well, dry them with a clean paper towel or let them drain naturally and peel them.
Wash the carrots thoroughly by soaking them in water with a little baking soda and apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes to help remove any slime or pesticides. Then, after draining the water, you have to soak them again for 2 minutes in plain water. Then, wash them thoroughly under running water, removing all dirt and mud, if any.
You can add celery to your carrot juice recipe because the flavors of carrot and celery go well together. Of course, you can also leave out the celery if you wish. Celery should also be washed and dried.
When the carrot and celery pieces are completely dry and chopped, put them in vegetable bags in the coarser drawer of the refrigerator. This makes it very easy to pull them out in the morning for carrot’s juice.
Blender method
- Add both carrot and celery to the blender.
- Add one-fourth to half cup water or as needed. Do not add too much water, as it dilutes the juice. Add just enough water to blend the carrots in a blender or food processor.
- Blend the carrots until they get smooth & fine. There are no visible chunks in the carrots.
- Place the bowl under a fine mesh sieve. Pour the blended carrot mixture into a strainer to drain the juice.
- Squeeze the flesh completely to squeeze out as much juice as possible. Serve immediately with the accumulated carrot juice in a bowl.

Juicer method
The juicer method is very simple and quick. You just need to add carrots to the mixer, and the rest of the work will be done by the mixer itself. Add the carrot cubes and chopped celery to the feed tube of the juicer and squeeze out the juice. The juice is ready. You can now serve the carrot juice.
